Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, Department of Strategic Studies in cooperation with partners is carrying out research in frames of the grant named Mobile medical dispensaries, modular provisional hospitals. Organizational and logistic solutions of COVID-19. Project of system solutions in Greater Poland. Manager of the grant is professor Jerzy Konieczny.
One of the areas of research is determining the role and tasks of the organisers of public transport in the period of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and of its effects for the urban mobility. Hereby, we submit a request for you to share your experience and knowledge within the thematic scope. Among the cycle of respondents we included the leading PT (Public Transport) organisers from Poland and the Federal Republic of Germany. Outcomes of the survey will be introduced during scientific conferences planned this year. Conclusions and recommendations drawn from your replies will be analysed and printed in the grant’s publication.

On the basis of the recommendations introduced by the government of the Republic of Poland, detailed guidelines were issued to the public transport operators regarding the sanitary regime in the passenger space

Disinfection liquid feeders were purchased and provided for operators

Uniform principles of the sanitary regime were implemented at all operators

Uniform passenger vocal information about principles of the safe migration was drawn up in public transport centres

An information campaign was drawn up (posters, announcements at local media and on websites) about principles of the sanitary regime on trams and buses and at stops

On their own initiative, in cooperation with the public health recommendations service, principles of the sanitary regime for operators were drawn up

An obligation of airing the passenger space on the last stops was introduced and of disinfection of the passenger space after the finished daily transit work

The organiser didn't take action due to assigning the duty to operators

A regular disinfection of stops was made

An order of the automatic door opening was enforced

In the cooperation with the Municipal Guard, preventive patrols were being conducted in on buses and trams in the audit purpose of the compliance to with passenger limits and the order of carrying the face mask
